How to get your name on our screens

Dimensions, placement and submissions

 Submission Guidelines

We want your ad to look its best on our digital screens.
Please prepare your material using the following specifications:

  • Dimensions: 1920 × 1080 px (16:9 landscape)

  • Resolution: 720–1080 dpi

  • File Types: JPG, PNG, or MP4

  • MP4 Length: 12 seconds

 

Design Tips:

  • Use clear, easy‑to‑read fonts and strong contrast so your message stands out

  • Keep important text and logos away from the edges to ensure safe display

If anything needs adjusting, we’ll let you know. You can revise the file yourself or have us make the changes for you (additional charges apply).

Placement

Our digital displays are being placed in a variety of spots around town, so your message reaches people as they go about their day.

You’ll find our screens in places like:

  • Local shop windows

  • Hairdressers and barber shops

  • Waiting rooms

  • The library

  • And more locations soon as we continue to expand.

We’re working with local businesses and organizations to make sure these screens are easy to see, easy to access, and a helpful part of everyday life in our community.

Scheduling

Your ad will appear on all our digital screens for a full two‑week placement, ensuring strong visibility to both residents and visitors throughout Digby. During this period, your content will rotate in our regular display schedule, giving it repeated exposure at key community locations.

This consistent, high‑frequency placement helps your message stay top‑of‑mind and reach audiences at different times of day — perfect for promoting events, special offers, or general brand awareness.

Community Events & Local Businesses - Side by Side

Our digital screens also help keep everyone in our community informed.

Your ad will appear alongside notices about local events such as

  • markets

  • concerts

  • workshops

  • fundraisers

  • breakfasts

and other happenings around town.

By blending business messages with community events, we’re creating a helpful, easy‑to‑read hub that keeps everyone in the loop and supports the people and organizations that make our area special.

Supply us with your assets (images, logo, copy) and we can design the ad for you.

Editing

If you have an existing ad, but it doesn't quite fit our dimensions, we will happily  edit it to look the best.

 

$30 per hour.

MP4 (movies) 

Adding movement to your ad always increases interest and attention.
